Granted, the Backup utility that shipped with Windows 95 left something to be desired, we feel the new and improved Backup that ships with Windows 98 is a huge improvement. Based largely on the commercial version of Seagate Backup Exec, this one is a keeper. Offering support for both QIC as well as SCSI tape units, you’ll find the interface friendly and intuitive. Best of all, it’s reliable!
If you don’t have Backup installed (it should be located in your Accesssories, System Tools folder), go to Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, select System Tools, then Details. Check the Backup checkbox and click OK. Make sure and have your Win98 installation CD handy.
